SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE IN CIUDALCAMPO URBANIZATION, SAN SEBASTIÁN DE LOS REYES, MADRID
In an almost triangular plot with 18 meters of height difference, access from the north and fall to the south, the building was placed in the highest part and to the north. Three boxes, a square and a hexagon, dodging the existing oaks, surround an intimate space oriented to the south views and to the noon and solve the program. Their heights are based on the rational and irrational needs of each space.
Except the kitchen, which controls the entrance, all areas look at the south through large glass areas. From inside the woodwork facades are hidden, which makes the boundary between exterior and interior to be ambiguous. The scenery chosen for each room, is introduced into the interior of the house.
The access is produced through a bridge in the upper floor; from the hall that extends into the large protected terrace it leads to the different parts. The piece for the parents bedroom above becomes the children bedroom downstairs. The office is the game room (office) of children downstairs. The day area is above, the winery is below. This winery, raised as being linked to the garden room, opens to a wooden carpet which extends to the pool, as the shade-projection of the facade towards the midday sun.
