INTEGRAL REFORM OF “CEU” SECONDARY AND HIGH SCHOOL IN MARTÍN DE LOS HEROS STREET, MADRID

The commision emerged from a challenge that seemed impossible,developing the necessary integral upgrading for the transfer of CEU school Claudio Coello in just two months. In record time we got the administrative permissions for the opening of the center and the work was done, including all laboratory equipment, boards, furniture, etc.

The key was to control the time and price of the important items in the work, asking price and time commitment letters to the manufacturers of flooring, ceilings, screens .... And by controlling the amount of leftovers that should leave across a small door (protected as heritage) that was available for entrance and departure of the work.

The distributions were modified completely, all the facilities changed (making the building execute 100% of the technical rules as if it were a brand new building in terms of Fire, accessibility, ventilation ...) blackboards were incorporated into whole walls, backlit showcases for bulletin boards, floors, data network for placing whiteboards, and high quality laboratory equipment .

The school opened in September 2010 working at 100% full speed from the first day.
