MULTISERVICE CARE CENTER FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES OR IN DEPENDENT SITUATION IN PUENTE DE SANABRIA, ZAMORA
The same association in the past called us for a simple reformation of the old schools of Puente de Sanabria. This time it was a center for weekends stays thought of as a leisure space for users of other residences of the association.
The location was hard to beat, dominating from the top of the nature park with a building in a "U" plan shape open to spectacular views.
Understanding the materials that existed in the building, masonry without mortar grip hidden behind layers of plaster and slate pitched roof (in an area with frequent snowfalls) now placed in large format, recovering repetitive rhythms of holes, which had been distorted over the years, and leaving a south-facing square with slate benches, outlined this 'low-cost' reform.
