Don Quixote CREA is a space for theater and cultural center with an experimental vocation, international and avant-garde.

The building has different degrees of approximation. At the urban level the criteria of simplicity and rigor prevails, while as we approach nearer the facades show their complexity, the language of trade of the silversmiths, gold and black, and the gold deployé fabrics superposition imitating Renaissance brocades.

The building is situated on an irregular plot, and it is related to other nearby buildings, so that the immediate environment to each facade somehow belongs to the building: The exhibition hall is extended as a pond of sculptures, the theater stage becomes reversible towards the outer square, and the caferia becomes the terrace.

The exterior also enters in the lobby, below the stage and the orchestra, leaving the ground floor free and transparent, becoming at the same time in the theater foyer and temporary showroom.

The theater has a capacity of 686 people, divided into different rooms; from the chamber hall with a accoustic shell, to a film club, a dance room and a large space for opera.

Finally, in the glass restaurant, all the furniture and equipment are transparent and only the food, as a tribute to our cuisine, produces shade.
