SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE VALDEMORILLO, MADRID
From an existing house of 100 m2 a construction of two buildings with pitched roof - these clients asked us for another 100 m2 extension and the renovation of the current house.
From the beginning the existing trees have been respected , especially the big olm oak tree. The dining room is placed embracing this centennial tree, surrounding it and making the extension open to the landscape and the south orientation through big glass walls, that capture the sun in a controlled way thanks to the the olm oak and concrete overhangs .
The materials give continuity to the existing. The roof made of ceramic tiles , is also a pitched roof , like existing ones, which extends into porche opened to the sights
